Backsplashes

Backsplashes can be the element that ties the kitchen together. They can pull colors from other elements in the room and usually coordinate with the countertop. They can be ornate and act as a design element of their own. Or, they can be very simple and subdued to act as a backdrop for items that live on the countertop.
