Coastal Powder Room Before & After

A tiny and dark powder room was transformed with a coastal look. The toilet and pedestal sink were kept.  A new faucet and wood floor were added. Everything else is the transformation power of paint and molding. Panel trim was installed to give the feeling of wainscotting. Crown molding highlights the ceiling which was painted in a soft blue. The walls were neutralized to become a good backdrop for the art. A new ceiling light with a fabric shade casts a soft glow. Instead of the basic medicine cabinet, I installed a large mirror that spans the sink wall. This makes the room feel larger and pulls you into the space.
